Trailer Alert: Ocean’s Thirteen, Dead Silence and The Nanny Diaries

Here are the latest batch of trailers gaining buzz.
Ocean’s Thirteen
June 08, 2007
Really?! Why are they making another one of these mindless capper flicks. Ocean’s Eleven was fun and a hoot to watch, but then came Ocean’s Twelve and man what a piece of garbage that was. A like the majority of the actors in these films and from what I hear they have a blast making them, so why then was the second one impossible to watch. I think this is one series that has run its course, but here you judge for yourself.

Dead Silence
March 16, 2007
The writing team that brought us the Saw franchise is at it again with another fright fest. Dead Silence looks good, and dare I say it, the film appears that it will better than the last two Saw films.

The Nanny Diaries
April 20, 2007
The movie has many striking similarities to last year’s surprise hit, The Devil Wears Prada and this film seems likely to win over audiences as well. Much like TDWP, The Nanny Diaries features a kind-of lopsided battle of talent: in one corner you have Scarlett Johansson (the Anne Hathaway of the film) who yes is talented, but nowhere near the same level as her more experience rival. In the second corner, we have multiple Academy-Award nominated actress Laura Linney (Like Miss Streep, she will make her co-star appear as an amateur) play her bitchy, mean boss. Despite its parallels with the TDWP this movie appears to have a more interesting concept behind it than just fashion.

Personally i think all 3 of these movies are duds and the only one that might catch my attention might be Dead Silence.
